The Source of Truth

Summary
Living a God-honoring life isn't something we are meant to figure out alone. In John 14:14–17, Jesus promises to send us a Helper—the Holy Spirit—to guide us, remain with us, and serve as our source of truth. Just as Psalm 23 reminds us that the Lord is our Shepherd who leads, refreshes, and comforts us through every dark valley, God provides us with the ultimate blueprint for our lives. When we follow His instructions, we allow Him to guide our steps rather than trying to build our lives in our own strength.
Building a life without guidance leaves us scattered, but trusting in God’s path allows Him to shape us into the masterpiece He designed us to be. We are faced with a daily choice of which path to take: walking alone or inviting Jesus to be the Shepherd of our lives. By surrendering to His leadership, welcoming the Holy Spirit’s help, and trusting in the sacrifice of Jesus, we receive the courage, forgiveness, and direction needed to fulfill His plan for us.
