Summary
Being faithful is tough. It takes courage to trust in the Lord when things are moving slow. And faith when you can’t see the end result. Galatians 6:7-10 instructs us to be faithful and persevere through our weakness.
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
Galatians 6:7-10 NKJV
The story for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shows us how three Hebrew boys were faithful to the lord regardless of the earthly punishment.
In part 1 of the story, we read that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego did not bow down to King Nebuchadnezzar because they were faithful to worshipping our God and no one else. King Nebuchadnezzar was so furious that he set a fiery furnace 7 times hotter than it needed to be to kill a person.
He gathered the strongest men to put Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego into the fiery furnace. Next weekend we continue the story to learn what happened to them in the furnace.
Invest time today thank God for his grace and Jesus for this faithfulness. We serve a living GOD who loves us dearly.
Have a blessed day!
